The 36th session of the World Heritage Committee has begun

Yesterday was the first working day of the 36th session of World Heritage Committee. This year the session is held in St Petersburg in Russia, and will last for 12 days. 33 World Heritage nominations are up for discussion along with a series of other items such as State of Conservation Reports, Periodic reporting and the Global Strategy to name but a few.
