“Living with World Heritage”

The World Heritage Convention is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year, and a series of events will take place to celebrate and reflect on the convention’s history and future.

One event – a conference entitled “Living with World Heritage” is to take place in the Røros in May. A conference web page, a Facebook page and a Flickr account have been set up so that you can take part in the discussions and share your photos:

“Living with World Heritage Facebook page”

“Living with World Heritage photo contest”

Read more about the World Heritage Site of Røros – an old mining town first World Heritage listed in 1980.
